What is DevStash?
DevStash is one fast, searchable, AI-enhanced hub for all your developer knowledge — snippets, prompts, commands, notes, links, and files — so you stop hunting across VS Code, Notion, chat history, and bookmarks.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes up to 50 items, 3 collections, all text and link types, basic search, and dark mode — free forever, no credit card required.
How much does Pro cost?
Pro is $8/month, or $72/year (which works out to $6/month). It unlocks unlimited items and collections, file & image uploads, full search, all AI features, and export.
What do I get with Pro?
Unlimited items and collections, file & image uploads, full search, AI auto-tagging, summaries, “explain this code”, the prompt optimizer, JSON/ZIP export, and priority support.
Which item types are supported?
Seven built-in types: Snippet, Prompt, Note, Command, and Link on every plan, plus File and Image on Pro. Each has its own color and icon used consistently across the app.
How does search work?
Press ⌘K (or Ctrl K) to open the command palette and search across content, titles, tags, and types. Results are grouped into Items and Collections and ranked by relevance.
Can I sign in with GitHub?
Yes. You can sign in with email and password or with GitHub OAuth — whichever you prefer.
